In the business year 2022/23, operating income of EUR 194.6 million (2021/22: EUR 118.7 million) from the sale of products not generated in the course of the Group’s ordinary activities (by-products) is included in other operating income. The latter also includes EUR 17.1 million (2021/22: EUR 15.5 million) in income from short-time work grants and other government grants for personnel expenses. In addition to EUR 2.3 million (2021/22: EUR 11.8 million) in reversals of impairment losses, the gains on the disposal and revaluation of intangible assets, property, plant and equipment in the business year 2022/23 include proceeds of EUR 132.6 million from the sale of real property in Düsseldorf, Germany.
